RACERS

A few years ago I read about the Trans Europe Footrace; a group of people were running from Bari is south Italy to Northcape on the very top of Norway. They had to cover the 4567km distance in 64 days. That is an average of 71.4km per day! With no days to rest. To me this was insane and I couldn’t believe it. How could anyone run this far? I was curious and wanted to find out more by taking some photos. As they had already started I headed straight for Finnmark in Norway were they were heading and finishing. These portraits are all taken seconds after they finished the race – the moment they had finished running 4567km! 64 days of running. Let it sink in.
